I've been thinking about buying an Ultra Motor A2b bike for ages and the closest place to Birmingham that retails, test-rides and sells them is Pedal Plus Power . I phoned Wayne to book a rental session: he was very helpful and knowledgeable, when I explain that I wanted to hire a bike in the first instance but was really interested in purchasing he offered me a free test ride assuring me that I didn't need to hire the bike, however I wanted to give the bike a really good test so I hired it for 4 hours.
When I arrived for my test ride the bike was fully-charged, clean and had the tires pumped up. The bike is brilliant: it is surprisingly easy to peddle, easily jumps up to 15MPH at the twist of the throttle and when you push the off-road switch again it flies up to 20MPH with amazing power. I'd recommend PPP to anyone thinking of buying or hiring an electric bike as the service is great and I'm sure the aftercare would be brilliant.

Wayne. Thanks for helping me choose my Wisper pedelec. I am very pleased with the performance. Just recently I travelled to Stourport on Severn and back to Wolverhampton visiting a couple of sights on the way. I completed over 60 miles at the end of the journey, more than twice what I could achieve on my Tesco mountain bike. Great fun too! PS. Very efficient first 300 miles service.

I have been using the Wisper 705se I purchased from you for about a fortnight now and I cannot sing its praises highly enough!
I live in Brierley Hill and have always done a lot of cycling. My knees are not what they used to be and consequently I find it tiring and sometimes painful to cycle up hills. The Wisper bike now gives me the freedom to cycle up to 50 miles without any side effects. It is great to be able to cycle with a varying amount of effort to suit my needs. I like to do photography around and about the area so I can easily access those places that prove to be awkward if driving a car. Canal tow paths would prove especially difficult!
Originally I searched the internet for an electric bike but found that you cannot beat the service you gave which included:
- Plenty of advice on what bike to buy which included cost, specifications and in depth explanation of how the bikes are operated.
- Free short trial of any of your hire bikes to get the feel.
- A brilliant price which easily beats or matches the online prices.
I have been stopped a couple of times by passers-by who asked how good the electric bikes are and where I got mine from.
They were most impressed when I mentioned the maximum 50 mile range at only half a penny per mile!
I advised them to pay you a visit at Pedal Plus Power.
Why not give a promotional tea shirt away with each bike you sell? People would not then have to stop me to ask where I got the bike from!

Dear Wayne,
I just have to tell you that the Wisper electric bike I had from you has lived up to expectations and beyond. It's used about three times a week and can be used with all power off or for a much easier ride Power On. I took it on a 30 mile + gaunt last week and still had power remaining. I still use my racer to keep fit but when I am in a lazier mood out comes the Wisper. Many thanks for your friendly assistance and I can recommend the electric bikes wholeheartedly.

We had an excellent ride on the recommended bike. It did not take long to get used to using the power available and this made the ride a pleasure especially on the way home uphill. The route along the canal was lovely and we had an excellent lunch in Kinver.
